Call for Papers – Studies in Oral History

Contributions for the peer review and reports sections of the 2024 issue of the Oral History Australia journal Studies in Oral History are now being accepted. The deadline for submission of peer review articles is 1 December 2023 and for reports it is 30 April 2024.

The special issue, No. 46, features the ‘Working Lives and Workplaces’. Paul Sendziuk and Nicholas Herriot will be guest editors.

Associate Professor Paul Sendziuk teaches Australian History at the University of Adelaide. He is an experienced oral historian, specialising in the histories of disease and public health, migration and labour. He is currently co-authoring a history of working lives at General Motors Holden based on 100 oral history interviews with former automotive workers.

Nicholas Herriot is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide with an interest in oral history, social movements and Australian student radicalism. His articles have been published (or are soon to appear) in Labour History and Studies in  Oral History.
